Bamboo delivers undisputed environmental benefits
Aside from the obvious – minimizing deforestation – bamboo is a green and renewable resource also delivering many other benefits:
- As bamboo thrives on marginal lands bamboo farming, in general, is not competing with food production.
- Due to its robust and lean nature bamboo is farmed without using pesticides or fertilizers.
- Bamboo is efficiently preventing soil erosion.
- Due to bamboo not being a tree but a grass-like plant it can be farmed and harvested without the need for replanting. Along with the mature culms being harvested the bamboo will continuously grow new shoots.
- Compared to most trees the growth of the bamboo is extremely fast - being one of the reasons why bamboo stores more CO2 and produces more oxygen when compared to trees – and most other plants.
- Bamboo paper in contrast to paper produced from wood-pulp is not bleached.

The Bamboo Series of packaging products are developed for fulfilling your green ambitions – regardless of what level your ambitions are at.
If your ambition is just to get the green transition started – but you at the same time cannot accept a cost significantly higher than the traditional products – then chose a PE-coated bamboo paper cup with PE-lid.
If your ambition goes further – then replace the PE-lid with a bamboo paper lid. Or go all in and chose the bamboo products with a PLA or PBS coating making the products 100% fossil-free and varying grades of biodegradable/compostable.
In other terms – whatever ambitions you have for the green transition of your packaging products - we can deliver the solution you are looking for.
Branded, co-branded or non-branded
Your packaging is a powerful vessel for conveying your brand.

No supply disruptions
We make sure to manufacture the Bamboo Series in regions where bamboo is an abundant resource. While the market for wood-pulp-based paper has been experiencing a shortage of supply and disrupted supply chains the market for bamboo paper is more stable.
China is the worlds biggest manufacturer of bamboo followed by countries like India and Vietnam. Here bamboo farming is promoted by governments and NGOs as a tool in the socio-economic development of rural areas where the soil quality does not allow for farming of other crops.
The stable supply of raw material combined with long term production planning means that when you provide us fairly accurate forecasts - then we in return provide you deliveries on time.
You can decide to store products locally or you can decide to have us store them for you - or whatever combination of the two that makes most sense for you.

"But how about the climate impact of bamboo from transporting the products?"
A reasonable question is: 'Won't the environmental benefits of using bamboo be outweighed by the climate impact of transporting the products from Asia to Europe?'.
The expert assessment is that the climate impact of sea transport is so much less than the climate impact of road transport, where moving a ton from Asia to Denmark by ship leads to less climate impact than it does moving a ton from Estonia to Denmark by truck.
That is why we omit the transportation-factor from the equation when we evaluate the environmental pro’s and con’s when comparing bamboo-based products with wood-pulp-paper products.
